Dear Neighbors & Friends:

My passion for public service is guided by a deep belief that “The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice.” Justice isn’t achieved without action and a fight though. We need more people fighting for Baltimore in Annapolis so that families in all our neighborhoods have opportunities and equity – so that we all share a good quality of life. We need legislators who understand that the fight for progressive polices is key to achieving the goal of equality for all. I am running to represent the 40th District in the House of Delegates to make Baltimore stronger and hope to earn your support as I move forward.
I grew up in West Baltimore, in the heart of the 40th District. My childhood home sits across the street from James Mosher Elementary School and its Little League, where I played in the outfield. I’m running to give back to the City that raised me by fighting for the West Baltimore neighborhood in which I came of age. I’m running to be an advocate for all neighborhoods, particularly those that need meaningful investment and access to opportunity. I’m running to fight for the progressive polices from which opportunity comes.
I’d like to hear your thoughts on how we can make Baltimore stronger together. To be successful in this campaign, and as a delegate, I’ll need to spend more time listening. It’s going to be a fight to get there though, and I’ll need help every step of the way. That may mean knocking on doors, coming to an event, or donating to the effort. That may mean introducing me to your neighbors, or guiding and informing me on an issue of critical importance. I understand how precious each of these actions are and view them as an investment in the community each of us deserves.
Can you help by sharing your ideas for a stronger Baltimore? I’d love to grab coffee and talk about what our neighborhoods need. Or, you can always shoot me a message with your thoughts and suggestions. Please write to me at
I’m also having my first event to start the campaign on May 3, 2017 from 6pm to 7:30pm at Marie Louise Bistro. Can you join me there? It would mean a great deal to be surrounded by friends as I embark on this effort.
Together we can add to the fight for justice! I look forward to keeping in touch along this journey.
